1 The Service Model
1.1 Pay-As-You-Go — We operate on a flexible, pay-as-you-go basis.
1.2 Eligibility — Our services are available to Sole Traders, Freelancers, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), and Corporate Entities. For any account, we may ask you to verify your identity and, in some cases, your South African residency status.
1.3 Business Types We Host — We host websites for any business with a legitimate, legal commercial interest — including professional service-based websites and online stores selling physical products. Our infrastructure supports both.
1.4 Ongoing Compliance Monitoring — Every website hosted on our servers is subject to continuous, ongoing monitoring. If we find that a site breaches South African law, or contains misleading or harmful claims, the account will be banned.
⚠️ This applies regardless of business type or how long an account has been active — compliance is checked continuously, not just at sign-up.
2 Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
To maintain the integrity of our network, we enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy. We do not host:
- Youth-oriented sites — any website specifically targeting or collecting data from children.
- Adult content — any form of pornography, adult entertainment, or suggestive material.
- Illegal activity — any site violating South African law, including unlicensed gambling or hate speech.
2.1 Violations — Any breach of this section results in an immediate account block, without prior notice.
2.2 Repeat Offenders — We reserve the right to permanently blacklist individuals or entities and, where necessary, pursue legal action for damages caused to our IP reputation or infrastructure.
3 Fees & Payments
3.1 Billing — Services are billed in advance. Due to the pay-as-you-go nature of our service, failure to pay by the due date will result in automated service suspension.
3.2 No Contracts — You may stop using the service at any time by simply not renewing your next billing cycle.
4 Refund & Cancellation Policy
In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), the following rules apply:
4.1 Admin Fee — All approved refunds for services already provisioned or rendered attract a 15% administration fee, covering bank charges and the manual work involved in reversing the service.
4.2 Duplicate Transactions — If you accidentally pay twice for the same invoice, the duplicate amount is refunded in full, with no fee.
4.3 Pro-Rata Refunds — Refunds for mid-cycle cancellations are calculated based on resources actually used. We don’t offer full refunds for time already elapsed in a billing cycle.
4.4 Domain Registrations — Domain registration fees are paid to third-party registries (ZACR/ICANN) and are non-refundable once the domain is live.
5 Infrastructure & Liability
5.1 Independent Management — We use high-tier data centre infrastructure and manage our own client, billing, and support systems in-house.
5.2 Uptime — We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee that services will be error-free or uninterrupted.
5.3 Backups — Clients are responsible for maintaining their own off-site backups of their website files and data.
6 Appointments & Meetings
6.1 Digital-First — We’re a digital-first organisation. Our physical office is available by appointment only.
6.2 Virtual Consultations — For the safety and efficiency of our staff and clients, we prefer and prioritise video consultations (Zoom/Google Meet) for all support and sales meetings.
