Refund Policy: Yearly Plan Offer

1. About this offer

When you pay for a yearly hosting plan from R79 a month upwards, you get:

10% off the yearly price
A free .co.za domain name
2 extra months free, so you get 14 months of hosting for the price of 12 (less the 10% discount)

This policy explains what happens if you change your mind.

2. 7-day money back guarantee

If you ask for a refund within 7 days of the date you paid, we will refund the hosting fee you paid, less the domain price explained in section 3. Your refund request must reach us before the 7 days end.

3. The free domain

Your free .co.za domain is registered for you as soon as your order is complete.
Because we pay for the registration straight away, the domain cost cannot be returned to us. If you cancel within the 7 days, we will take the domain price of R99 off your refund. You keep the domain.
The domain is free for the first year only. From the second year it renews at R89 a year.

Example: You pay R853.20 for a yearly R79 plan and ask for a refund within 7 days. We refund R754.20 (R853.20 minus R99 for the domain). You keep the domain.

4. The 2 extra months

The 2 extra months are a bonus and have no cash value. We only refund money you actually paid, never the value of free months.

5. Payment fees

If you ask for a refund within the 7 days, we do not take payment processing fees off your refund.

6. After the 7 days

We do not give refunds after the 7 days have passed, so please use the 7 days to try our service and contact us if you are unhappy.
You can still cancel at any time so your plan does not renew. Your hosting stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
We will send you a reminder email before your yearly plan renews, so you can cancel if you do not want to continue.

7. When we cannot give a refund

We may refuse a refund if:

Your account was suspended or closed for spam, scams, illegal content, abuse, or breaking our Terms of Service.
You repeatedly sign up and ask for refunds to take advantage of the offer.

8. How to ask for a refund

Email us at refunds@getfasthost.co.za or open a support ticket within the 7 days.
Tell us the email address you used to sign up and your order number.
We will reply to confirm your request.

Approved refunds are paid back to the same card or payment method you used, within 7 to 10 business days. Your bank may take extra time to show it.

9. Your legal rights

This policy does not take away any rights you have under South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.
