GetFastHost, operated by Hostnr Holdings (Pty) Ltd (“the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), provides web hosting, domain registration, and corporate branding services. We’re committed to handling personal information lawfully and transparently, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA) of South Africa.

Hostnr Holdings (Pty) Ltd is the “Responsible Party” for personal information collected through our business operations, and has appointed an Information Officer to oversee our data protection practices.

We run our own hosting environment while working toward full accreditation as a domain registrar, so our setup currently looks like this:

• Direct infrastructure — our own servers and hosting environments that we manage in-house.
• Domain & registry services — domain registrations are processed through the relevant registries, with any required data handled securely throughout that process.
• Client & billing management — a secure client management platform handles account provisioning, invoicing, and support, and connects to multiple supported payment gateways so you can pay using your preferred method.

We only collect what’s needed to actually deliver your hosting or domain service:

• Client identifiers — full name, business name, and contact details.
• Service metadata — IP addresses, domain names registered, and technical server logs.
• Financial records — transaction history and billing details, retained for 5 years per SARS requirements.
• Domain data — information required for WHOIS records (e.g. .co.za registrations).
• Verification documents — for any account, we may ask you to verify your identity and, in some cases, your South African residency status (for example, to comply with .co.za registration rules or to prevent fraud).

Your information is used solely to:

• Set up and manage your hosting account.
• Automate provisioning of domains and servers, and process payments securely through our supported payment gateways.
• Keep our hosting environment secure and stable.
• Meet South African statutory requirements (SARS, RICA, and POPIA).
• Verify your identity and, where relevant, your South African residency status.

Location: our primary systems are hosted in South Africa. International domain registrations may require data transfer to global registries as required by ICANN.

Encryption: all data transmitted between our systems, clients, and service providers (including registries and payment gateways) is secured with SSL/TLS encryption.

Access control: access to our systems and servers is limited strictly to authorised personnel.

Under POPIA, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. You’re also entitled to lodge a complaint with the South African Information Regulator if you feel your rights have been infringed.
